If you’re a city person and plan to attend the night before event at Specs, we suggest staying in San Francisco in one of the following neighborhoods: North Beach/Russian Hill, Cow Hollow/The Marina, Japantown, Inner Richmond, NOPA
If you’d like to stay closer to the wedding venue, we suggest looking for lodging in the following areas: Sausalito/Mill Valley (15-20 minute drive to venue), Corte Madera/Larkspur/Kentfield/San Anselmo/San Rafael (5-10 minute drive to venue)
The Marin Art & Garden Center has ample parking available. The afterparty at California Gold has a parking garage directly across the street.
A summarized history of Max & Maralisa
Although we grew up just thirty minutes away from each other in Lagunitas and Sausalito, it wasn’t until we both moved to NYC for college that our paths finally crossed, and from the moment we met it felt like we’d known each other our whole lives! So many things in common and a shared love for music and art and humor brought us together in August of 2014, and since then we’ve been through countless adventures and changes together, from Brooklyn to Los Angeles to San Francisco where we now call home. We are thrilled to gather our friends and family together to celebrate this ongoing journey and we’re deeply grateful for your presence at our wedding!
